You can never get rid of the dirt, humidity, and pollution in your surrounding environment but you can surely find measures to take care of your skin instead. Some people are too lazy to follow a proper skincare routine or to some, the skincare products are too expensive to purchase often. That does not mean environmental hazards can be just set aside and you would let them ruin your skin and health.

In such a case, you should know all the necessary measures that help you protect your skin from pollution and all such pollutants.

Always Cleanse Your Skin:

Skin cleansing should be a core part of your bedtime routine. You should first exfoliate your skin with quality skincare products and then rinse the extra dirt off your face. For that, it is better to buy white face cloths in bulk, as you would need them often. Whenever you go outside, your face is exposed to dirt and pollution the most. Even if you cannot keep your face clean often, it is better to cleanse your skin at least at night.

Use Products With Vitamin C:

Skincare products are aplenty but not all such products are good for your skin. Some face scrubs with walnut extracts might tear through your skin and form wrinkles around your cheeks and eyes. Vitamin C skin care products are meant to liven up your skin as well as its color tone. You would not feel or look too dusty, as the extra pollutants will be extracted out of your skin.

Exfoliation of Skin:

When you exfoliate your skin, you also get rid of the extra dirt and pollutants on your skin. However, exfoliation also has an additional advantage of getting rid of dead skin on your face, arms as well as your legs. Some scrubs are not recommended since they stiffen up your skin but if a scrub has small portions of extracts of sugar and salt then it can be usable. Just cleanse the material off your face once you are done the cleansing.

Green Tea is Usable:

Now if you were thinking that green tea could only be used for drinking and food consumption then you are wrong. There are numerous green tea products that not only soothe and cleanse your skin but are also very friendly to the environment. At times, when you are exposed to dirt and humidity too often, you should not use chemically created skincare products since it could bring extra damage to your skin. Green tea is a good replacement for such products since it is all natural with zero side effects.

Vitamin E Products:

Vitamin C is not the only vitamin type that has the potential to clean and protect your skin from external pollutants. While vitamin E is an entirely different vitamin with different benefits and uses, it can be still used to protect your outer skin layer and its barriers. Oils usually contain vitamin E so you can purchase good quality oils and apply them on to your skin.
