A Perfect Homemade Ice Cream Recipe without Milk Powder

Ice cream is the perfect sweet treat that will help you cool down in this summer heat. This sweet treat has many amazing and health benefits. It has a nutritional gain that adds up to a healthy way of life. Ice cream is a very saleable commodity, especially during the summer season. Running a mobile ice cream shop is very trendy. Many vendors are using a mobile ice cream display freezer for preserving ice cream which is very affordable.

And whose ice cream cravings end at 9 p.m.? Not mine for sure. Homemade ice cream would be better for you to make instead of always going out to the nearest store to buy this delicious cold dessert. There are plenty of flavors you can try out for your homemade ice cream.

This luxury is also for those who don’t like powdered milk. In fact, making ice cream without powdered milk is simple and gives delicious results. Follow these steps to make ice cream without powdered milk.

1. Gather all Ingredients

· 2.5 cups half and half

· 8 egg yolks

· 1 cup sugar

· 2.5 cups heavy cream

· 4 teaspoons vanilla extract

· 0.5 teaspoon salt

Before beginning the procedure make sure your ice cream maker is frozen before ahead.

2. Heat The Half and Half:

The first step of making ice cream is heating 2.5 cups of half and half. Put the saucepan on the stove and heat until you see bubbles around the edges of the pan. Now remove the pan and set it aside.

3. Mix Egg Yolks and Sugar:

Put two egg yolks and 1 cup of sugar in a bowl. Beat them with your hands or a mixer. Keep beating until it mixer thickens.

4. Add Half and Half:

Now slowly add the lukewarm half and half to yolk mixture and mix until thoroughly combined.

5. Heat The Mixture:

Next, pour the combined mixture back into the saucepan. Heat the mixture only until you see bubbles form around edge of pan and liquid is steamy, stirring constantly.

6. Add Cold Cream:

In a large container or bowl, combine the heavy or whipped cream with the vanilla and salt. Mix them well. Carefully pour the warm half and half mixture into the heavy cream mixture. Combine completely.

7. Cover The Mixer and Refrigerate:

Place the lid on the container and refrigerate it overnight. If you noticed some lumps in your half and half mixture, use a sieve to remove the lumps. Pour the mixture through a sieve into the container.

8. Pour The Frozen Mixture Into Ice Cream Maker:

After you have chilled the ice cream mixture overnight, get ready to pour it in your ice cream maker. And press the running button.

9. Finish:

Once the ice cream is complete remove it from the machine and use a pre-chilled container and store in the freezer at least 2 hours before serving.

Your homemade ice cream is complete. You can also use nuts, sprinkles, peanut butter, and caramel for topping. It will add extra deliciousness to the ice cream and also add richness to taste.
